Zach Galifianakis Says “Good Morning America”
It’s always a good time whenever he shows up, and Zach Galifianakis stopped by the ABC Studios in New York City this morning to promote his new film “The Campaign.”
The “Hangover” star chatted about his character Marty Huggins during his interview on “Good Morning America” with fellow Greek George Stephanopoulos.
Zach explained, “That character is a character I’ve been doing since high school, but back in high school he was called ‘the effeminate racist.’ I thought it was such a weird contradiction to be both things. And then it just turned into that character.”
He also noted that there was plenty of improv while filming the flick- “With Will, yes. To keep it fresh... I mean, it gets a little bit boring to say the same things over and over again so you try to change it up. For comedy, it’s very helpful that way.”
