Zac Efron and Claire Danes: Chelsea Chums

Stepping out for a promotional appearance, Zac Efron and Claire Danes were spotted at the Cinema Society screening of “Me and Orson Welles” in New York City last night (November 23).

The “17 Again” stud and the “My So-Called Life” actress looked classy as they posed for pictures outside Chelsea Cinemas before heading inside.

And though Mr. Efron is mostly known for his song-and-dance teen appeal, he says he’s ready to stretch his acting legs when the time is right.

“I would love to try an action film at some point, but not too soon. I think that can be a kiss of death. There's got to be a real role that I can bring something unique and specific to, a way for me to do it believably. Until then, I think it would just come across as weird.”
