Wyclef Jean Joins Forces with Al Sharpton
Showing his support for Yele, Wyclef Jean was spotted at a press conference held at the National Action Network Headquarters in Harlem, New York City on Wednesday (January 27).
The “Gone Till November” singer along with Rev. Al Sharpton spoke in behalf of the humanitarian and relief organization.
Jean spoke about his recent trip to Haiti and relief efforts by his Yele Haiti Foundation and added that any aid to the country needs to include not only the tools but the knowledge for Haitians to be able to rebuild their country for the 21st Century.
He encouraged, "I need you all to bring the rod. I need you all to bring the boat. I need you all to bring the people that's going to teach them how to get on that boat, how to take that boat out to sea, how to fish and how to bring that fish back for their family.”
