Woody Allen to Refute Dylan Farrow's Abuse Allegations
Attempting to fight back against recent sexual abuse allegations, Woody Allen now wishes to publish his own New York Times article to refute Dylan Farrow's accusations.
Andrew Rosenthal, The New York Times' editorial page editor, released a statement about the 78-year-old director's report that read, "They asked and we said, 'Yes, send it in."
And whether or not the piece will be published, Rosenthal also stated, "It comes down to the editing process. Normally, we don't publish a direct response. In this case, it was so personal, we thought that we should."
In response to her daughter's accusations, Mia Farrow, Dylan's mother tweeted on Tuesday, February 4th, writing, "I love my daughter. I will always protect her. A lot of ugliness is going to be aimed at me. But this is not about me, it's about her truth."
