“The Wolf Of Wall Street”: Slapped With $25 Million Lawsuit
Given its widespread success and inflammatory subject matter, “The Wolf Of Wall Street” has definitely ruffled more than a few feathers.
According to a report, attorney/investment banker Andrew Greene has filed a $25 million defamation lawsuit against the filmmakers and Paramount pictures.
Green claims that the film’s character Nicky “Rugrat” Koskoff was modeled after him, down to the fact that he wears a toupee and his real-life nickname is actually “Wigwam.”
In the flick, Koskoff does cocaine, shaves a woman’s head, has sex with a hooker and engages in plenty of other questionable activities. Greene claims he’s nothing like that, and Paramount needs to pay up.
