Box Office: "Wall Street 2" Outearns "The Town"

Battling it out for box office glory, "Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps" and "The Town" were the two most popular movies of the weekend of September 24-26th.

The Michael Douglas spearheaded sequel about Gordon Gecko was able to outpace its competition by raking in an estimated $22.5 million on opening weekend.

Meanwhile, last weekend's big earner "The Town" fell one position in its second week of release with an estimated $19 million in sales.

Rounding out the top five movies in the States were "Legend Of The Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole" ($16 million), "Easy A" ($11.5 million) and "You Again" with $9.5 million.
