Viola Davis Says “Good Morning America”
Coming off a big win at the Screen Actors Guild Awards, Viola Davis was spotted visiting ABC Studios in New York City this morning (February 9).
The “Eat Pray Love” actress was in the house for an interview on “Good Morning America,” during which she talked about her Oscar-nominated role in “The Help.”
As for what drew her to the film, Viola explained that she was very inspired by the main point of the story.
“The fact that these are ordinary heroes. The fact that these are ordinary women going about their lives, who have been told that they have very limited potential. The black women and the white women. And all of a sudden this idea of the book is presented and they tap into all of these extraordinary qualities of themselves and they find their voice. There’s something about that for me that touched my heart.”
