Vince Vaughn Defends Gay Joke Decision
Even after the issues it recently raised, it has been decided the controversial “gay” joke will remain in “The Dilemma” and Vince Vaughn believes it’s the right thing to do.
In a radio interview for “The Bert Show” on Wednesday (November 3), the “Break Up” actor told, “I’m glad to hear it’s staying in the movie.”
In the film, Vaughn remarks, “electric cars….are gay.”
The star claimed that the quip "wasn't a derogatory term...We clarified within the joke [that it was] not 'homosexual-gay' but, you know, your parents are chaperoning a dance."
