Not that surprising, “The View” drama continues as Joy Behar takes her turn to sound off against Elisabeth Hasselbeck for her “below-the-belt” remarks about Rosie O’Donnell.

Elisabeth recently spoke out about her distaste that Rosie may come back as a co-host on the ABC series calling O’Donnell “the very woman who’s spit in the face of our military, [and] spit in the face of her own network.”

During an interview on CNN, Joy calmly responded to Elisabeth’s remarks with, “I would like Elisabeth to explain herself, really…What does she mean by that? And isn’t it kind of a nasty thing to say about somebody who is basically a good person?”

She also noted that O’Donnell’s son is in military school. “Her son is at The Citadel [The Military College of South Carolina]. What more does Elisabeth want?”

“It’s a hate-filled remark, and she should explain it,” Behar added.
