Sure she’s dating Zac Efron, one of the hottest hunks in Hollywood. But Vanessa Hudgens doesn’t have any intentions of getting married anytime soon.

In a recent interview, the “High School Musical” hottie told press, “I think [marriage and starting a family] is great, but I’m so focused on my career right now that it doesn’t really cross my mind.”

And though she’s planning on taking a break from the musical genre, Vanessa says she’ll come back to it someday. “I think the best part about being an actor is playing different characters. I’m definitely going to revisit musicals later, once I feel accomplished at a certain point, that I’ve gone somewhere with my acting career. Then I’ll go back, because that’s where I grew up – in musicals.”

Hudgens also noted that she hopes to break into the edgy side of film. “The fact that kids look up to me in my role as Gabriella is flattering. But at the end of the day, I want to do R-rated films, and I want to do things that are a bit edgier, so maybe some kids can’t see some of them. I just think it’s really important to try different things. I think a lot of people get stuck doing the same routine, and I’m just not content with that. I love trying new things and doing new hobbies and just exploring life.”
