21st Screen Actors Guild Awards: The Show, The Winners

For many movie and television fans, the SAG Awards trophy is the one that really counts, and on Sunday (January 25) the Screen Actors Guild handed out a slew of hardware to some very deserving recipients.

Not surprisingly, “Birdman” ended up winning the Outstanding Performance By a Cast in a Motion Picture honors, giving Michael Keaton, Naomi Watts and Edward Norton something to smile about.

Making the most of her time in Italy, Angelina Jolie enjoyed meeting with Pope Francis on Thursday (January 8) following a Vatican screening of her new film “Unbroken.”

The “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” actress brought Zahara and Shiloh along for the ride as well as the late Louis Zamperini’s son Luke, and they all posed for photos afterwards.

Once the food is eaten and the presents are opened, many families head off to the movie theater to catch a Christmas Day flick. And this year, Angelina Jolie’s “Unbroken” is the undisputed top dog, with earnings in the low-to-mid teens ($13-$15 million) on Thursday (December 25).

Just behind the Louis Zamperini flick is “Into The Woods,” starring Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt, Anna Kendrick and Johnny Depp, with approximately $10 million in ticket sales.

The “Gone in 60 Seconds” starlet told E! News, "It's PG-13. My boys—one is 13, one is 11 but he's a mature 11—will see it, but I think I might actually show my younger children."
