“Mission: Impossible- Rogue Nation” Spends Second Weekend at #1

It looks like Tom Cruise still has what it takes to bring in the ticket sales, as “Mission: Impossible- Rogue Nation” is still the number one movie in the land.

The latest installment of the popular spy series raked in $29.4 million, putting it ahead of “Fantastic Four,” which debuted at $26.2 million.

He’s no stranger to the #1 spot and Tom Cruise took his latest flick “Mission: Impossible- Rogue Nation” to the top of the rankings for its opening weekend.

The action-packed film, also starring Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg and Rebecca Ferguson, raked in $56 million, followed by “Vacation” with $14.9 million in earnings.

Despite the relatively low attendance at movie theaters across the nation this past weekend, “Ant-Man” still managed to rake in enough ticket sales to remain in the top spot.

The Paul Rudd flick landed $24.8 million, putting it just ahead of Adam Sandler’s opener “Pixels,” which earned a respectable $24 million.

Her new movie “Trainwreck” is full of laughs and love, and Amy Schumer is distraught that a gunman opened fire in a Louisiana movie theater killing two moviegoers and injuring nine additional people.

According to multiple reports, a 58-year-old white man was at a screening of “Trainwreck” in Lafayette, Louisiana when he pulled a gun and tried to flee the theater along with the audience members who were running out the door.


“Ant Man” Nabs Top Spot at Weekend Box Office

It was a respectable opening weekend for Paul Rudd's latest flick “Ant Man,” as moviegoers bought $57.3 million worth of tickets to land it at number one.

The Marvel/Disney film managed to beat last week’s top dog “Minions,” which raked in an additional $50.2 million and wound up in second place.

It looks like Daniel Radcliffe has gone to the dogs! The British actor shot scenes for his new film “Trainwreck” in the Bryant Park neighborhood of New York City this afternoon (June 30).

During the film shoot, the “Harry Potter” star walked a number of doggies and puffed away on a smoke while excited fans gazed on from the sidelines.
