Tracy Morgan Update: Will Be Hospitalized for “Several Weeks”
On Saturday morning (June 7) Tracy Morgan was involved in a horrific car crash that left him in critical condition and thankfully he’s now showing signs of improvement.
According to the “30 Rock” actor’s rep, Morgan has already undergone an operation on his leg and is “more responsive,” though he’ll likely be hospitalized for “several weeks.”
“While Tracy remains in critical condition, he has been more responsive today, which is an incredibly encouraging sign. He sustained a number of injuries including a broken leg, a broken femur, a broken nose and several broken ribs. He had surgery earlier today on his leg.
The rep added, “We expect him to remain in the hospital for several weeks. His family is tremendously overwhelmed and appreciative of the outpouring of love and support from his fans.”
Sadly, Tracy’s friend/fellow comedian James McNair was killed and several others were injured when semi-truck driver Kevin Roper failed to slow down on the highway and ended up colliding with Morgan’s limousine and several other vehicles.
