Stars of "Total Recall" Bring the Action to Berlin with German Premiere
With the successful US opening of their famed remake under their belts, the stars of “Total Recall” made a dashing appearance at the Sony Center on Monday evening (August 13) for their German premiere.
In a recent interview, the 36-year-old star spoke out about his character and said, “So really he’s just a normal man; he’s just an everyman. That’s the construct of the character and in his own life he’s feeling a great disconnect to his wife, to his work, to his friends, and he decides to have a memory of an experience implanted. He goes into this place in the film [Rekall] just looking for something.”
In the remake of the 1990s film, “Douglas Quaid (Farrell) begins to suspect that he is a spy after visiting Rekall - a company that provides its clients with implanted fake memories of a life they would like to have led - goes wrong and he finds himself on the run.”
“Total Recall” is now in theaters.
