Gathering together to show off their latest film, the stars of “Anna Karenina" were on hand for the Toronto Film Festival premiere on Friday (September 7).

Looking beautiful in black, Keira Knightley stunned on The Elgin's red carpet in a floor-length lace gown while her co-star Jude Law looked dapper in a grey suit.

The drama, which is set in the late 19th century Russian high-society, follows the aristocrat Anna Karenina (Knightley) who enters into a life-changing affair with the affluent Count Vronsky (Aaron Tyler Johnson).

“She is a bird caught in a cage,” Knightley said of Anna, adding that cloaking her in furs and feathered headdresses was meant to help establish that the character is surrounded by mortality at all times.

“Anna Karenina” is set to hit theaters on November 16, but you can check out the trailer in the player above!
