Posted Monday June 11, 2012 8:05 AM GMT

Once again the 2012 Tony Awards were quite the event to behold, with Broadway’s biggest and brightest stars converging on New York City’s Beacon Theatre last night (June 10).

And with Neil Patrick Harris handling the hosting duties, the evening struck the perfect balance between fun and fabulous. He also sang a song about not having time to sing a song.

In the Best Leading Actor in a Musical category, Steve Kazee (Once) came out the big winner, while Audra McDonald (The Gershwins’ Porgy and Bess) took the trophy in the Female Musical Lead department.

Additionally, “X-Men” stud Hugh Jackman was honored for his contribution to the theater community both on and off-stage.
