Tamera Mowry Talks Criticism She Recieves for her Interracial Marriage
She has been in the public eye since she was a young girl, but Tamera Mowry seems to have received the most hate and criticism since marrying her husband back in 2011.
During an interview on "Oprah: Where Are They Now," the former "Sister, Sister" star opens up about the hurtful things people have said to her regarding her interracial marriage to hubby, Adam Housley.
“I get called ‘white man’s whore,’” Miss Mowry said through tears while being comforted by her sister Tia. “The new one was ‘Back in the day, you cost $300 dollars. Now you’re giving it to him for free.’”
Although there are many people that seem to not believe in Tamera's choice, the actress has actually grown up in the same situation since her own parents have an interracial marriage as well.
Talking about growing up, the mom-of-one says she didn’t “grow up seeing color,” just “family.” For more, check out the interview in the player below.
