"Lucky 7" Gets the Axe After Two Episodes
The show was all about winning, but unfortunately "Lucky 7" lost out on ratings and got the the axe from ABC on Friday (October 4).
After airing two episodes, the show premiered with only 4.4 million views and a 1.3 rating from adults 18-29 last week, making the drama the lowest-rated ABC drama in years.
"Lucky 7" featured a group of seven gas station employees in New York City who play the lottery each week and dream about what they could do with the money. After winning the jackpot, each co-worker discovered that the money doesn't solve problems, just creates new ones.
Taking the flopping series' place on the Tuesday evening's roster will be reruns of Shonda Rhimes' "Scandal."
