"Beauty And The Beast" Renewed by CW While "The Carrie Diaries" Gets the Axe
As summertime approaches, the CW released its official season renewals on Thursday (May 8).
“Beauty and the Beast” earned a third season and joined returning programs including “The 100” and “Hart of Dixie,” which earned a second and fourth season, respectively.
“The 100” scored impressive 2.7 million viewers during its freshman season debut in March, so it’s no surprise that the network is banking on another successful run.
As for the not lucky few, “Star-Crossed,” “The Tomorrow People” and “The Carrie Diaries” were all cancelled by the CW.
