Trevor Noah Scores “Daily Show” Hosting Gig!

After 17 years at the helm, Jon Stewart is stepping down from “The Daily Show” hosting duties, and Trevor Noah just announced he’ll pick up the reins.

The popular comedian tweeted, “No one can replace Jon Stewart. But together with the amazing team at The Daily Show, we will continue to make this the best d*mn news show.” Stewart also wrote, “I’m thrilled for the show and for Trevor. He’s a tremendous comic and talent that we’ve loved working with.”

“Top Gear” Host Jeremy Clarkson Axed by BBC

He allegedly assaulted producer Oisin Tymon during production of “Top Gear” on March 4th and now Jeremy Clarkson has been kicked to the curb.

Earlier today (March 25) the BBC director-general Tony Hall released a statement to say, “It is with great regret that I have told Jeremy Clarkson today that the BBC will not be renewing his contract. It is not a decision I have taken lightly. I have done so only after a very careful consideration of the facts and after personally meeting both Jeremy and Oisin Tymon.”
