Bringing his quirky project to the 2014 Sundance Film Festival, David Cross premiered “Hits” in Park City, Utah last night (January 21).

Joined by his wife Amber Tamblyn and the film’s star Jason Ritter, the “Arrested Development” actor sported a bushy beard as he greeted the press at the Eccles Center Theatre.

Slated to hit theaters in limited release on May 12th, 2014, “Hits” also stars Michael Cera, Matty Blake, and Amy Carlson.

Per the synopsis, “Hits is a dark comedy exploring the nature of fame in 21st Century YouTube America. The film takes place in a small town in upstate New York populated by people who trade in unrealistic expectations. It’s a story in which fame, delusion, earnestness, and recklessness meet, shake hands, and disrupt the lives around them.”
