He’s never been one to take things lying down, and when Daft Punk canceled their performance on “The Colbert Report,” Stephen Colbert came out on top.

The hilarious news satirist declared, "We booked Click and Clack over here about a month ago. Apparently, Daft Punk are going to make a surprise appearance on the MTV Video Music Awards. Don't tell anyone, because fun fact: No one told me until two hours ago."

Then Stephen asked if he’d been “Daft Punk’d” and Ashton Kutcher came out to tell him that he’d actually been “f**k-ed.”

Thankfully, Colbert brought together stars like Hugh Laurie, Jeff Bridges, Jimmy Fallon, Matt Damon, and Bryan Cranston for a marvelous dance-infused video to the tune of Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky.”
