Sports Illustrated Models Upset Over NBC Swimsuit Cover Up
Censoring may help the public when certain body parts are being displayed, but it seemed to backfire when it came to the 50th Annual Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue cover.
On Monday morning (February 17), the "Today Show" hosts Matt Lauer and Savannah Guthrie interviewed with supermodels Chrissy Teigen, Nina Agdal and Lily Aldridge who were taken aback with the censored ribbon on the cover.
Although each had swimsuit bottoms in the photograph, the ladies agreed the ribbon caused the cover to be more revealing than it actually was.
While the ladies were interviewed, Chrissy declared, "[The ribbon] makes it look much dirtier!" and Nina added, "I'm surprised about that."
