Refusing to turn the other cheek when it comes to others making fun of him, Shia LaBeouf fired back at Jim Carrey for the comments he made at the Golden Globe Awards last night (January 12).

During the show, Mr. Carrey took to stage and joked about the "Transformer" star's recent plagiarism drama by saying, "'Dying is easy. Comedy is hard.' I believe it was Shia LaBeouf who said that. So young, so wise."

Although every one in the audience enjoyed a good laugh, it seems Mr. LaBeouf was not too happy about the comments.

After hearing the joke, Shia took to his Twitter account and tweeted, "If you explain @JimCarrey you've killed him, Nobody knows if it's for real or not. That way he's immortal."

He then shared a link of a music video by the Jane Careey band, which is fronted by Jim's daughter and wrote, "At least I don't get arrested for indecency on major LA highways! Or abandon love child's."

Per his usual habits, the 27-year-old actor began to apologize for his behavior on the social media site and said, "Jim Carrey states that he is deeply involved in his daughter's life - I accept that, regret tweet on the matter. Apologized to both parents."
