After making it into the top ten of season 14's "Dancing with the Stars," Sherri Shepherd has now said her goodbyes to the dance floor.

On Tuesday night's episode (April 10), "The View" co-host and her pro partner, Val Chmerkovskiy, were eliminated even though they managed to stay out of the bottom spot after last week's episode.

Having found her perfect match, Sherri Shepherd has announced her engagement to TV writer Lamar Sally.

The co-host of "The View" received her proposal on December 26th upon returning to Los Angeles following a holiday trip to San Diego.
