Shannen Doherty’s Father John Thomas Passes Away
She was very close to her father John Thomas Doherty, and sadly last Friday (November 5) Shannen Doherty lost her dad.
The “Beverly Hills: 90210” actress released a statement to share the devastating news, noting that she looked up to her dad in everything.
Shannen called her father “the greatest man in the world… I love him with every inch of my being and cannot imagine life without him.”
John Thomas Doherty suffered a stroke last Christmas, prompting Shannen to take on the challenge of competing in “Dancing with the Stars.” He was 66 years old.
