Shania Twain's Stalker Gets Early Jail Release
He entered a guilty plea in September to criminal harassment and has since been locked up in jail, but Shania Twain's stalker Giovianni Palumbo was released earlier this week.
On Tuesday (November 15), Palumbo was sentenced to three years probation and is not allowed within 0.5 miles of the “You’re Still the One” singer or her family and staff.
Dr Helen Ward, who was present in court, explained that Giovanni suffers from bipolar disorder but still found him criminally responsible for his actions.
Twain initially became alarmed by this man after sending her countless love letters, showing up to her family cottage along with her grandmother’s funeral and to the Juno Awards in March with a suspicious greeting card.
