Seth Meyers Expects To Be In "White-Hot Panic" On "Late Night" Debut
He continues to prepare for his big debut on "Late Night," and Seth Meyers admits he's pretty nervous about the premiere.
During his interview on the "Today Show" Monday (February 24), the "Saturday Night Live" alum revealed the reaction he's expecting to have the first time his name is called on the NBC series.
"I think I'll go into a full white-hot panic," Seth declared. "We'll probably have security guards behind me to make sure I can't make tracks quickly out the other direction."
When asked if he was going to bring his "Weekend Update" persona to the talk show, Meyers stated, "I think, like, at least that sentiment. I don't know if you'll see it actually in that structure. But I promise to be incredulous about current events."
In regards to his ideal guests, the 40-year-old actor/writer said, "I would love to have a long list of politicians coming on the show. Someone like Hillary Clinton. Someone like Chris Christie. It would be interesting to talk to him right now," he jokingly added.
"Late Night with Seth Meyers" premieres tonight at 12:30 a.m. on NBC!
