Seth Meyers Can Add Emmy Host to Long List of Achievements

Adding more achievements to his big year, Seth Meyers is ready to host the 66th Annual Emmy Awards on August 25.

The “Late Night” stud succeeds last year’s host Neil Patrick Harris for the award celebration, which takes airs on NBC.

"Seth is such a talented performer and writer, and we know he will bring something unique to hosting the Primetime Emmy Awards," Bruce Rosenblum, head of the Television Academy, said in a statement.

The Emmys announcement comes after Seth earned a spot on Time’s 100 Most Influential People list along with Pharrell Williams, Miley Cyrus, Carrie Underwood and Beyonce Knowles.
