In the days leading up to her "Saturday Night Live" hosting gig, fans wondered if Miley Cyrus would once again do something to cause a big stir as she did at the VMA's in August.

But those who tuned in to see what the controversial songstress would do found that she kept it quite tame, and had fun while doing it.

Heading off to rehearsal for her upcoming appearance on "Saturday Night Live," Miley Cyrus stepped out in New York City on Tuesday (October 1).

The "Wrecking Ball" beauty was all smiles as she rocked an au naturel face and stopped for a photo op with a lucky fan before making her way over to NBC.

Showing off her philanthropic side, Lena Dunham showed up at the 4th Annual LA Loves Alex’s Lemonade event in Culver City, California on Saturday (September 28).

The “Gabi on the Roof in July” actress hammed it up with Mae Whitman, Caroline Styne, and Suzanne Goin at Culver Studios to benefit the Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation.

The "30 Rock" star, who was once a member of the skit show's cast, brought her perfect comedic timing to the set, along with spoofs of "Girls," a fun game of "Cast Member or Arcade Fire" with new cast members, and advice for the new Weekend Update anchor.
