Chris Pratt Tapped to Host “Saturday Night Live” Season 40 Premiere!

Parlaying his box office mojo into yet another exciting gig, Chris Pratt will handle the hosting duties when “Saturday Night Live” kicks off their 40th season on September 27th.

The “Guardians of the Galaxy” guy will team up with musical guest Ariana Grande in what will likely be one of the highest-rated episodes of the season.

Don Pardo Dies at 96

It’s been a tough month for celebrity deaths, and the latest star to pass away is beloved announcer Don Pardo.

The 96-year-old voice talent is probably best known for his 38 seasons on “Saturday Night Live,” and show honcho Lorne Michaels told press, “Every year the new cast couldn’t wait to hear their name said by him.”

Brooks Wheelan Tweets: I Got Fired from SNL!

During her rant, Jones lamented the fact that she’s tall and strong because she can’t get a date these days. And though she congratulated Lupita Nyong’o for being named People’s Most Beautiful Woman, Leslie also noted, “The way we view black beauty has changed.”
