Her new shoe line "SJP" is set to hit Nordstorm this spring and Sarah Jessica Parker shared details about the project in the February 2014 issue of InStyle.

The 48-year-old actress looked absolutely gorgeous in a colorful David Yurman dress for the Giampaolo Sgura-shot spread and chatted with Katie Couric about the line and her thoughts on a possible "Sex and the City" reunion.

Highlights from Miss Parker's interview are as follows. For more, be sure to pay a visit to InStyle!

On her shoe line:
“If I’m going to ask people for their hard-earned dollars, I’d better be making shoes I want to wear. My real dream was a smaller line, my name, built in Europe, at a reasonable price point.”

On "Sex and the City" reunion:
“A part of me thinks there is one last chapter to tell. But timing is a peculiar thing. It isn’t a decision that can wait forever. I don’t want to have to wear muumuus!”

On her favorite mantra:
“The Golden Rule – do unto others as you would have them do unto you – that’s my religion, my dogma. As soon as my son could recite it back, I’d repeat it to him.”

On her career:
“The real success happened after I was grown, and continued to be – my gosh. I don’t think my success has ever defined me; it’s just this thing that I carry around and then shepherd in a hopefully graceful way, you know?”

On her views on age appropriate styles:
“People should dress the way they want. Any rules for age or shape are silly. If you walk out the door feeling good about yourself, that’s what counts. I think pulling it off or not pulling it off, that almost doesn’t exist for me, because I’m looking for experiences, not some report card. I do love fantasy, color, and the idea of no rules… So you choose a dress people think is a disaster. In the end, who cares?”
