It’s finally happening - “Sex and the City 2” began filming today (September 1) in New York City and none other than Sarah Jessica Parker was spotted reporting for duty.

The “Failure to Launch” babe looked lovely as she strolled around the Manhattan set, sporting a white dress with animal print heels and a super-voluminous hairdo.

"Sex and the City2” comes after a massively successful “Sex and the City: The Movie” which gave fans a chance to see what their four favorite ladies had been up to since the HBO series ended.

And all of the usual suspects will return in the new flick, scheduled to hit theaters nationwide on May 28th, 2010.
