Ryan Reynolds Men's Fitness July 2012 Feature
With his latest movie "Safe House" set to hit store shelves on Tuesday, June 5th, Ryan Reynolds scored himself an attention-drawing feature in the July 2012 issue of Men's Fitness magazine.
The 35-year-old actor looked handsome in a plain white t-shirt as he chatted about his lack of fitness during the "Van Wilder" days while documenting his turnaround when it comes to being a healthy person.
Highlights from Mr Reynolds' interview are as follows. For more, be sure to pay a visit to Men's Fitness!
On his 'Van Wilder' days:
"I was pretty unhealthy. I didn't care what I ate or what I drank."
On getting fit for 'Blade Trinity':
"That time changed my life because it taught me you can actually do things that were previously impossible."
On training more functionally:
"Most of it is self-preservation. You want to still be able to get up after take 50 of falling off some ledge and landing on cement. As I've gotten older, falling on cement has become less and less hilarious."
On facing fear head-on:
"When I'm scared of something, I tend to go toward it, rather than run away from it."
