Russell Crowe: In Talks to Play Jor-EI in "Man of Steel"
Adding to the already star-studded cast of the Superman reboot, Russell Crowe is reportedly in talks to play the father of the "Man of Steel."
According to Variety, the 47-year-old is currently in negotiations to play the superhero's dad, Jor-El.
The role of the ill-fated father was famously played by Marlon Brando in the 1978 classic.
If Russell signs on, he'll join previously announced actors Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Henry Cavill , and Kevin Costner.
