Johnny Depp & Amber Heard: "The Rum Diary" in NYC!
It’s one of the most highly-anticipated films of the year, and “The Rum Diary” made its New York City debut on Tuesday night (October 25).
Held at the Museum of Modern Art, the adventure/drama flick's premiere was spearheaded by co-stars Johnny Depp and Amber Heard.
Due in theaters October 28th, "The Rum Diary” involves an American journalist Paul Kemp who takes on a freelance job in Puerto Rico for a local newspaper during the 1950s and struggles to find a balance between island culture and the ex-patriots who live there.
Talking about filming the movie, Miss Heard recently told press, "I'm in a 1958 Corvette convertible on an empty highway. It's a beautiful spring day in Puerto Rico. And I'm making a movie with Johnny Depp. He's a beautiful specimen of a human being."
She added, "It was a wildly, wildly seductive combination. That moment quite possibly has ruined every other job for me."
