With the final season of her TV show "Damages" set to get underway on July 12th, Rose Byrne pitched in on promotions by covering the August 2012 issue of Flare magazine.

The 32-year-old Aussie actress looked radiant in red for the Max Abadian shot front page while dishing about style, acting and getting ready for red carpet events.

Set to hit newsstands on Monday, July 9th, highlights from Miss Byrne's interview are as follows. For more, be sure to pay a visit to Flare!

On her personal fashion preferences:
“I go through phases. But I mostly dress in high street clothing, like Urban Outfitters. Every day, really.”

On readying for the red carpet:
“You’ve got to get your stamina ready. Particularly for an awards ceremony, that’s a different league. I think for the red carpet in general it’s important to keep it youthful.”

On her experiences with comedy roles:
“It’s definitely more challenging for me to do comedy. I’m not as used to doing comedy, the stakes are higher. But it’s so addictive, to make people laugh. I think as an actor it’s about diversity, to be able to do a comedy and then something dramatic. I’m very lucky to have had that opportunity, because you can easily get pigeonholed.”

On starring in 'Damages':
“It totally changed my life. I wouldn’t have got all those [subsequent] films if I hadn’t been on that show.”
