Roseanne Barr’s Presidential Aspirations
She’s always been a fan of shaking things up, and now Rosanne Barr has officially declared her intent to run for the office of President of the USA.
The outspoken comedienne filed paperwork to be the Green Party’s candidate in the upcoming election, making good on her August announcement to run for the highest office in the land.
In July, the Green Party will officially select their candidate for the 2012 election, and it stands to reason that Roseanne may actually be their best chance.
Barr told press, “The Democrats and Republicans have proven that they are servants — bought and paid for by the 1% — who are not doing what’s in the best interest of the American people. We (the greens) only have a 99% chance to win this election.”
