Robin Williams Declined $600K Offer for Two Shows in Vegas!
Ever since he passed away on August 11th, Robin Williams' financial state has been the subject of much debate.
While many have speculated that the “Mrs. Doubtfire” star was suffering from severe money problems, his inner circle has always denied this notion.
And now TMZ is reporting that Williams turned down $600,000 to perform two shows at the Coliseum at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas back in July of 2012.
The fact is, if Robin was indeed broke, making more than half a million for a two-night stand in Sin City would’ve been a no-brainer.
Meanwhile, New York Times reporter Dave Itzkoff has begun work on a biography of the late Williams, a man with whom he’d spent considerable time.
Itzkoff told press, “Robin Williams was a cultural hero of mine, and in the encounters and interactions I was able to share with him, he was always gentle and generous, humane and thoughtful and hilarious. I’m grateful for the opportunity to tell his story.”
