Robert Downey Jr.’s Son Indio Faces Felony Drug Possession Charges
They say addiction is hereditary and in the case of Robert Downey Jr.'s son Indio that certainly seems to prove true.
The 20-year-old has been charged with felony drug possession after being arrested on June 29th for having cocaine on his person.
At the time, Indio was a passenger in a friend’s car and when the vehicle was stopped by the cops, he got pinched.
Following the arrest, Robert told press, "Unfortunately there's a genetic component to addiction and Indio has likely inherited it. Also, there is a lot of family support and understanding, and we're all determined to rally behind him and help him become the man he's capable of being. We're grateful to the Sheriff's department for their intervention, and believe Indio can be another recovery success story instead of a cautionary tale."
