Rihanna Continues Barbados Holiday and Makes a Hefty Hospital Donation
Continuing her hometown holiday vacation, Rihanna enjoyed some relaxing time out on the balcony of her luxury digs in Barbados on Saturday (December 22).
The 24 year-old songstress showed off her flawless physique in a sexy, chevron print monokini as she sipped on Banks beer and hung out with some of her closest pals.
In other news, it looks like Ri Ri's home island is directly benefiting from her monumental success in the industry.
Getting into the holiday spirit, Rihanna donated a whopping $1.75 million to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Bridgetown in the name of her late Grandmother, Gran Gran Dolly.
In a statement to E! News, the "Diamonds" singer explained, "This was my way of giving back to Barbados, in a form of philanthropy, by assisting the QEH in its continued modernization program...I believe that this will have a huge impact on the people of Barbados. This was all done to save lives or at least extend them."
The radiotherapy department, which was led to by the Grammy Award winner's donation, will now be renamed the Clara Braithwaite Centre for Oncology and Nuclear Medicine.
