He's all set to begin playing Ché in the Broadway revival of the show Evita this month, and Ricky Martin piled onto his promotions by taking over the cover of the April 2012 issue of The Advocate.

The 40-year-old looked suave for the publication's David Needleman shot spread while chatting about his press-shy partner, "Glee" appearance and success.

Highlights from Martin's interview are as follows. For more, be sure to pay a visit to The Advocate!

On his press-shy partner:
“I think he’s so sexy. He’s very smart. That is such a turn-on. He leaves the house every day in a suit and tie and that is so sexy. It’s two different worlds — his and mine. I know as much about his world as he knows about my world, which makes it really cool.”

On his 'Glee' appearance:
“I was very busy with so many things that I didn’t realize I missed acting. This had to happen.”

On having not even read his book yet:
“Exactly a week ago I had it open on my computer and I started reading a paragraph and had to stop. I had to stop. It reminded me of the place I was when I was writing it.”

On success:
“You have to be careful. It’s not easy to deal with fame. I’m very lucky to be surrounded by amazing people who are raw and honest, who will say I’m wrong, and who will also congratulate me.”
