Looking to be holding a new script in-hand, Reese Witherspoon was spotted out following a lunch meet-up in Santa Monica on Saturday (January 10).

The "Legally Blonde" beauty cheerfully walked along the street after grabbing a bite to eat at Anisette Brasserie, laughing as paparazzi snapped up shots.

And there's definitely reason to be cheerful, as the 32-year-old recently was chosen as Favorite Female Star at the People's Choice Awards earlier this week.

As for her next big screen release, Miss Witherspoon appears in "Monsters vs. Aliens," with a 3D preview of the animated film set to air during the Super Bowl.
