Nick & Vanessa Lachey Join Kat Graham & Pharrell Williams at Spring Sound Sessions
It was a star-studded affair at New York City’s Webster Hall last night (April 29) as Sprint Sound Sessions attracted some big names.
Additionally, Pharrell Williams made his way through the arrivals area, sporting a brown fedora along with some vintage Chanel jewelry.
The “Get Lucky” singer previously told press his hit song “Happy” was originally recorded by Cee Lo Green for “Despicable Me 2” but the studio bosses weren’t having it.
Pharrell explained, "I actually did [give it to] Cee Lo. He sounded amazing on it. I mean, he burns my version! But the ... how do I say this diplomatically? Um ... he ... um ... The powers that be, at the time, did not see it fit for him. Some folks on his team just felt that the priority should be on [Cee Lo's] album at the time, so they elected not to do that song."
