Randy Jackson: Staying at “American Idol”
The judges’ table at “American Idol” has been the source of much speculation as of late, and it seems there’s good news for fans of Randy Jackson.
The “Idol” veteran, who has been with the show since the first round in 2002, will be staying on for the upcoming season.
Along with Randy, FOX has announced that Mariah Carey will replace Jennifer Lopez. Nicki Minaj and Keith Urban are also in final negotiations to complete the four-person panel.
Simon Cowell, who spent multiple years with “Idol” before jumping ship for “The X Factor” tweeted, “Just heard randy is back on idol. Right decision.”
