Rafael Nadal Triumphs for 7th French Open Title
He’s one of the greatest players to ever pick up a racket, and Rafael Nadal just won his seventh French Open crown.
The 26-year-old Spanish stud defeated Novak Djokovic in the men’s final at Roland Garros, despite the fact that play was delayed by the rainy weather.
Rafael’s big win brings him to eleven Grand Slam titles, pushing him into a tie with Rod Laver and Bjorn Borg for fourth best career ever.
Now, Nadal will set his sights on beating the Grand Slam accomplishments of Roger Federer (16), Pete Sampras (14), and Roy Emerson (12), though it certainly won’t be easy.
