After talking over her role with producers, Rachel McAdams reportedly dropped out of Keanu Reeves' new film "Passengers."

According to the Hollywood Reporter, "The Notebook" actress' choice to leave the independent film resulted in a complete delay of production - indefinitely.

This news comes after The Weinstein Company removed all of its financial support from the film.

Reeves is having a hard time securing the leading lady spot, as Reese Witherspoon reportedly turned down the role too. One confirmed member of the cast is "Game of Thrones" star Brian Kirk. This film, if it makes it to the big screen, will be Brian's movie debut.
