Ohio State Marching Band Owns the Field with Hollywood Tribute

They’re known the world over as “The Best Damn Band in the Land,” and the Ohio State Marching Band proved they deserve the title with their halftime show over the weekend.

Taking the field at Ohio Stadium in Columbus, Ohio, the Marching Buckeyes wowed the crowd with flawless formations and pitch perfect music taken from blockbuster film soundtracks.



2007 Teen Choice Awards Honor Best In Entertainment

Last night was a big deal for many celebrities. The Fox Network held their annual Teen Choice Awards at Universal Studios in Hollywood, and passed out life-size surfboards in lieu of statuettes. Hilary Duff and Nick Cannon shared the hosting duties.

The big winners of the night included “Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End” with a win in the Choice Movie: Action Adventure category. Johnny Depp, Keira Knightley and Bill Nighy also received surfboards.

It was a big night in the movie realm last night, with it being MTV Movie Award night and all. And the biggest winner ended up being Johnny Depp and his movie, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest.

Depp took home the award for best performance for his role as Jack Sparrow. Later, Depp joined producer Jerry Bruckheimer to accept the award for Best Movie.

Crowds gathered along a 1,000 foot long red carpet that stretched down Main St, USA, at Disneyland in Anaheim on Saturday for the highly anticipated Walt Disney Pictures' premiere of "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End."

Among the attendees were the film's stars - Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom - along with Teri Hatcher, Stacy Kiebler, Emma Roberts, Lauren Holly, and a slew of others too long to list.

Believe it or not, the Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards are a force to be reckoned with. With celebrities like Nicole Kidman, Jessica Alba, Ben Stiller, and Orlando Bloom in attendance, the KCA command serious star power.

The show aired live on Nickelodeon on Saturday night and was hosted by Justin Timberlake. The winners of the Kids' Choice Awards are selected using all of the different Nickelodeon digital platforms, including voting online through Nick.com or even texting in votes, like they do on American Idol.
