Penelope Cruz: "Broken Embraces" Babe
Out to take care of some promotional duties, Penelope Cruz was spotted in New York City today (October 9) in support of her new film “Broken Embraces.”
The “Vanilla Sky” actress looked city chic as she passed through a mass of paparazzi, sporting an all-black ensemble and hiding behind a pair of black sunglasses.
As for her role in the movie “Nine,” director Rob Marshall told press Penelope refused to let anyone else do her stunts.
"She`d be the last one on the sound stage working and I`d have to say, ‘Penelope, it`s over!’ In the middle of the number she does all this work with ropes, swinging on them, and she had formed calluses and her hands were bleeding. We told her she would have to wear gloves but she was like, `No, no, I have to feel it.’"
