His autopsy results were just released by the Los Angeles Coroner’s office and now Universal Pictures announced that it is shutting down production of Paul Walker's latest project.

Per a statement this afternoon, the production company announced that it is putting all work on “Fast and Furious 7” on hold due to the 40-year-old actor’s sudden death.

“Right now, all of us at Universal are dedicated to providing support to Paul’s immediate family and our extended Fast & Furious family of cast, crew and filmmakers. At this time we feel it is our responsibility to shut down production on Fast & Furious 7 for a period of time so we can assess all options available to move forward with the franchise,” Universal executives announced.

“We are committed to keeping Fast & Furious fans informed, and we will provide further information to them when we have it. Until then, we know they join us in mourning the passing of our dear friend Paul Walker.”

As previously reported by GossipCenter, Walker died after his car accident on Saturday (November 30). Autopsy results report that the cause of death was due to “the combined effects of traumatic and thermal injuries.”
